DETERMINAN PENGGUNAAN FASILITAS KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI REMAJA DI INDONESIA
ANALISIS SURVEI KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI REMAJA INDONESIA 2007
Abstract
Angka kesakitan dan kematian ibu serta bayi yang tinggi di Indonesia berkaitan dengan status kesehatan perempuan sejak masa remaja. Sampai saat ini, belum diketahui secara pasti efektivitas pelayanan kesehatan reproduksi dan seksual bagi remaja di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan di Indonesia,
karena program ini dianggap masih kontroversi. Hampir seperempat populasi penduduk di dunia termasuk di Indonesia adalah penduduk berusia remaja, yang rentan berperilaku berisiko, terutama penyalahgunaan narkotika dan perilaku seks pranikah. Perlu dianalisis prediktor pemanfaatan fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan reproduksi dan seksual oleh remaja di fasilitas kesehatan di Indonesia. Untuk menganalisis prediktor pemanfaatan fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan reproduksi dan seksual oleh remaja di Indonesia, di daerah Jawa dan Bali dengan daerah di luar Jawa dan Bali menggunakan data Survei Kesehatan Reproduksi Remaja Indonesia tahun 2007. Analisis data sekunder yaitu data Survei Kesehatan Reproduksi Remaja Indonesia (SKRRI) 2007 menggunakan analisis Logistik Regresi dengan program STATA, untuk mencari prediktor utama pemanfaatan fasilitas kesehatan reproduksi dan seksual remaja di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan di Indonesia. Sebanyak 6.289 remaja berusia antara 15-24 tahun yang berada di Jawa - Bali serta 13.438 remaja dari wilayah selain Jawa-Bali dimasukkan dalam studi. Remaja di wilayah Jawa-Bali lebih banyak dengan tingkat sosial ekonomi yang lebih tinggi (28,5% vs 20,4%), lebih sedikit memperoleh informasi tentang PMS dari petugas kesehatan (50,0% vs 63,9%). Kontrasepsi hormonal yang diterima di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan antara 1,8% - 5,2% di wilayah Jawa-Bali serta di luar Jawa-Bali. Remaja menghindari fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan untuk mendapatkan pelayanan kontrasepsi (OR=0,03; 95%CI=0,01 – 0,14) dan p value <0,001. Kesadaran remaja dan petugas kesehatan memiliki kontribusi besar bagi kesehatan reproduksi dan seksual remaja di masa mendatang.
