Introduction: Antenatal care examination aims to improve physical and mental health in pregnant women optimally and be able to prepare for labor, postpartum, exclusive breastfeeding preparation, and the return of reproductive organs. Antenatal care services are provided through supervision, counseling and care to ensure safe pregnancy and childbirth. Irregular antenatal care checks risk undetected pregnancy complications that can increase the risk of maternal death. Hemorrhage is the most common cause of maternal death each year. Followed by other causes such as hypertension and infection as well as cancer, heart disease, tuberculosis or other diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between age and parity to antenatal care visits in third trimester pregnant women at the Minggir Health Center. Methods: This research is a type of case-control study with a retrospective approach. The sampling technique in this study was simple random sampling with a sample size of 166 pregnant women. The instrument in this study was medical records with the help of sheets in tabular form. Data analysis in this study used chi square. Results: The results of the analysis with the chi square test obtained bivariate results showed that there was a relationship between age and antenatal care visits obtained pvalue = 0.000 (pvalue <0.05) and there was no relationship between parity and antenatal care visits in the third trimester pregnant women at Puskesmas Minggir in 2023.
