Abstrak
Nyeri persalinan merupakan proses fisiologis yang dialami oleh seorang wanita. Nyeri bersifat unik dan subjektif setiap orang memiliki respon terhadap rangsangan nyeri yang berbeda-beda. Rasa nyeri dapat menimbulkan kecemasan pada ibu, terutama pada ibu primigravida yang dapat berdampak terjadinya persalinan yang lama. Nyeri persalinan yang berat dan lama dapat mempengaruhi verifikasi sirkulasi maupun metabolisme yang harus segera ditangani karena menyebabkan kematian janin (Mander, 2004). Massage punggung merupakan metode sederhana, aman dan tidak menimbulkan efek merugikan (Judha, 2012). Pemijatan secara lembut membantu ibu lebih segar, rileks dan nyaman selama persalinan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Efektivitas Massage Punggung Dalam Mengurangi Nyeri Persalinan Kala I Fase Aktif pada Primigravida dan Multigravida. Desain penelitian ini Pre experiment One Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi pada penelitian ini semua ibu inpartu kala I primigravida maupun multigravida sebanyak 50 orang. Hasil analisa bivariat pada ibu primigravida massage punggung menurunkan tingkat nyeri persalinan sebesar 0,25%, dimana p-value sebesar 0,046 sedangkan pada ibu multigravida intervensi massage punggung dapat menurunkan tingkat nyeri persalinan sebesar 0,35% dengan nilai p-value sebesar 0,001. Ada perbedaan tingkat nyeri ibu bersalin pada primigravida dan multigravida sebelum dan setelah dilakukan intervensi. Massage punggung dapat diterapkan disemua fasilitas kesehatan dan dapat diajarkan pada ibu dan keluarga.
