PERBEDAAN PERKEMBANGAN MOTORIK KASAR BAYI 0 – 6 BULAN YANG DIBERI ASI EKSKLUSIF DAN NON ASI EKSKLUSIF
STUDI DI KELURAHAN MULYOREJO WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS MULYOREJO SURABAYA
Abstract
ASI eksklusif adalah pemberian ASI secara penuh selama 6 bulan pertama tanpa pemberian makanan atau minuman lain kepada bayi. Kandungan ASI diantaranya AA dan DHA berguna dalam mempercepat myelinisasi. ASI mempunyai efek yang menguntungkan terhadap perkembangan motorik kasar. Berkembangnya produk susu formula telah merubah pola pemberian susu. Cakupan pemberian ASI eksklusif wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mulyorejo Surabaya yaitu 63,78% (2011), masih dibawah target pemerintah (80%). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan perkembangan motorik kasar bayi umur 0 – 6 bulan yang diberi ASI eksklusif dan non ASI eksklusif. Penelitian menggunakan metode analitik cross sectional. Populasinya adalah seluruh bayi usia 0 – 6 bulan di Kelurahan Mulyorejo yang datang Posyandu bulan Juni-Juli 2013. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Besar sampel 46 responden. Variabel bebasnya pemberian ASI eksklusif dan non ASI eksklusif. Variabel terikatnya perkembangan motorik kasar bayi. Instrument menggunakan lembar wawancara dan Denver II. Sumber data dari wawancara dan pemeriksaan. Analisis data menggunakan uji Fisher. Hasil penelitian dari 46 responden, lebih dari separuh bayi (65,2%) diberi non ASI eksklusif, perkembangan motorik kasarnya sebagian besar normal (78,3%). Hasil uji Fisher p = 0,130. Sehingga p > α, berati tidak ada perbedaan pemberian ASI dengan perkembangan motorik kasar bayi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini, sebagian besar responden memiliki perkembangan motorik kasar normal, kebanyakan diberi ASI non eksklusif dan tidak ada perbedaan perkembangan motorik kasar bayi usia 0 – 6 bulan yang diberi ASI eksklusif dan non ASI eksklusif. Namun pemberian ASI eksklusif selama 6 bulan pertama penting diutamakan karena keunggulan yang dimiliki.
