Abstract

Considering the Temanggung Profile for 2021, Temanggung Regency has a 75.3%active family planning coverage rate. The main reason for the reduction in the number of modern contraceptive users, particularly among Couples of ChildbearingAge (CoCA), is CoCA's lack of reproductive health education and access to accurate and reliable contraceptive information. This was a quasiexperimental study with a one-group before-test and post-test design. Couples of Childbearing Age (CoCA) in the working region of Puskesmas (Primary Health Center) Bulu inDecember 2022 - February 2023, totaling 108. The sampling technique used is non- probability samples from 52 couples of childbearing age (CoCA). Wilcoxon test isused in hypothesis testing. The findings revealed a difference in knowledge level between couples of childbearing age (CoCA) before and after obtaining health education with knowledge level (p-value = 0.001) and Z-score = -5.792. Accordingto the findings of the study, respondents aged 20 to 35 years (78.8%) and the majority of respondents do not work (59.6%), and midwives can utilize leaflets to educate Couples of Childbearing Age (CoCA) about Long-Term Contraceptive Methods.
