Abstract
Corona Virus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-COV2). This disease is transmitted from human to human through close contact. Individuals who are most vulnerable and at risk of being infected with this corona virus are those who have close contact with COVID-19 patients or health workers who treat COVID-19 patients. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The population in the study is a group of subjects who are the target of research. The population in this study were all midwives who performed delivery assistance with a total of 23 respondents. The results of this study found that most of the respondents always used medical masks, namely 23 people (100%) in providing delivery assistance. always use headgear 19 people (82.6%), Always use Handscoon 22 people (95.6%), Always wear glasses 10 people (43.5%), Always use Hazmat 6 people (26%) and always use Boots 20 people (87 %). The conclusion of this study is that midwives experience difficulties when assisting childbirth, where midwives have difficulty in fulfilling Personal protective equipment and other infection prevention materials because they are difficult to obtain and the prices are not affordable. So that the use of Personal protective equipment at level 2 labor is not carried out optimally
